Scouts HQ has started opening a new provision for 4 – 6 year olds called Squirrels, to help young people gain skills for life at a time when it matters most and where it’s most needed.
We don’t have any Squirrels sections in Altrincham yet, but we’re gathering interest to launch one soon.
Starting Squirrels in our area depends on the support of adult volunteers. If you’re able to help make this happen, whether as a regular volunteer or occasional helper, let us know on the form. Full support and training provided.
If you’d like to register your interest, and your child’s, for Squirrels, please fill in the form below.

Squirrel Volunteers
All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the section week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. No matter how much time you have to spare, find out about volunteering on your own terms.
