Cub Warren

Our Private Campsite in the Cheshire countryside

Location

Cub Warren is located on the Tabley Estate in the heart of rural Cheshire. The Campsite is ideally suited to those who prefer the privacy of a small campsite exclusively booked for their own use.

Address: Green Lane, Knutsford, WA16 0HH

How to find Cub Warren

  • From M6 Junction 19, head towards the A556 Northwich.
  • The campsite is on Green Lane, an unmade road about 2 miles along the A556.
  • You can’t turn directly right into Green Lane due to solid white lines.
  • Instead, continue to the next set of traffic lights (about 1 mile ahead), turn left, find a safe place to turn around, and rejoin the A556 heading back.
  • Look out for the entrance to Green Lane just after a truck lay-by.
  • Travel down the unmade road, go through the iron gate (close it behind you), and continue until you reach the campsite gate.

Accommodation

Steeped in history, Cub Warren was originally a wooden lodge, built in 19XX, but underwent a comprehensive modernisation in 1995. The hall features a newly refurbished toilet block, with separate adult restrooms. Our kitchen, recently refreshed, boasts stainless steel worktops, a four-ring hob, oven, and even running hot water for your convenience!

The main room, measuring approximately 30×16 feet, comfortably accommodates up to 30 young adventurers with ample seating and tables.

The solar-powered lighting has also been refreshed for the 2025 season to ensure your activities can continue into the evening.

It’s our private slice of the Cheshire Countryside.
